Wilfrid Laurier University
Bachelor’s of Music
RCPA graduates can enroll in Wilfrid Laurier’s Bachelor’s of Music to complete their bachelor’s degree with an additional two years (10.0 credits) of full-time study. Applicants must earn admission to the programs through the normal audition procedures and be subject to the same terms and conditions as any other student.
In the Bachelor of Music program, students will gain experience and skills performing in various music genres and different settings, from formal concerts to participatory community events. Key highlights of the program include lessons in classical or contemporary, and commercial genres with opportunities for cross-training. Students will benefit from the guidance of faculty with strong industry ties, ensuring personalized mentorship and collaboration opportunities throughout their education. Additionally, the program offers a “Navigating the Music Industry Ecosystem” certificate, equipping students with the essential business knowledge needed to succeed in the music industry.
Students will be able to customize their education through diverse specializations, including performance, music therapy, composition, and more, gaining the tools and knowledge to succeed in a career as a performer, educator, composer, or industry professional.
Yorkville University
Bachelor’s of Creative Arts
RCPA graduates can enroll in the Bachelor of Creative Arts Degree program at Yorkville University to complete a full bachelor’s degree within 15 months*. The Bachelor of Creative Arts degree program equips you with the business and leadership skills required to succeed as a creative entrepreneur in senior leadership roles and project-based positions. Performers who wish to create their own work, will gain the skills to plan projects, get them funded and get them made. Surrounded by creatives from all different disciplines including directors, producers, VFX designers, musicians, editors, gaming developers and more.
In this program, you will learn to:
